Mount Solo ...
Mount Solo is located on the Washington side of the Columbia River at River Mile (RM) 62, just downstream of Longview. At its base lies an area known as Barlow Point and dowlstream lies Willow Grove. Mount Solo is directly across the Columbia from Lord/Dibblee Island, and slightly upstream of Walker Island.

Early Mount Solo ...
The 1857 cadastral survey (tax survey) for T8N R2W shows "Mt. Solo" in the northwest corner of Section 30.

The 1888 nautical chart "Columbia River, Sheet No.4, Grim's Island to Kalama", has Mount Solo listed as "Mount Solo".
